Overview
The Clinical Lab Scientist will own the processing storage and distribution of cellular therapy products at UCSF. This role involves performing flow cytometry testing transcribing results operating instruments troubleshooting equipment and following quality control procedures. What You'll Do9
- 1Build and maintain flow cytometry assays to ensure accurate diagnostic testing
- 2Design and execute protocols for bone marrow stem cell and immune effector cell processing
- 3Operate laboratory instrumentation to generate reliable test results
- 4Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly
- 5Implement quality control measures throughout testing workflow
- 6Maintain detailed records of all laboratory activities
- 7Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve sample handling efficiency

Requirements10
- 1Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (Medical Technology) - Generalist
- 2Bachelor degree in a related science field
- 32+ years experience in cellular therapy processing or blood banking
- 4Thorough knowledge of immunology principles
- 5Experience with aseptic technique and cGMP regulations
- 6Familiarity with blood product processing and isolation methods
- 7Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex laboratory data
- 8Excellent written communication abilities
