Clinical Experience Coordinator, Nursing Education & Healthcare Partnerships
Overview
You will own the clinical placement lifecycle for the MSNEP program, coordinating 200+ student rotations across 30+ healthcare partners. You connect nursing students with clinical sites, manage compliance, and troubleshoot placement issues. You work with faculty, adjunct clinical faculty, and agency staff to meet curriculum needs. Your role ensures students meet every agency requirement, from onboarding to final evaluation. You join a supportive university team that values diversity and inclusion.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain clinical affiliation agreements with all partner facilities.
- 2Forecast clinical placement needs each semester based on curriculum and enrollment.
- 3Assign students to clinical rotations, meeting each agency's specific requirements.
- 4Process administrative tasks for ABSN student and faculty placements, including agency-specific credentials.
- 5Coordinate adjunct clinical faculty onboarding with the Executive Director of Nursing, collecting and verifying licenses.
- 6Drive adjunct faculty development in collaboration with the Executive Director of Nursing and the Director of Simulation.
- 7Monitor student compliance with partner requirements throughout the program, intervening when needed.
- 8Communicate placement details and requirements to students, faculty, and partners.
- 9Design orientation sessions with faculty and staff to prepare students for partner sites.
- 10Maintain databases for agency contacts, placements, and compliance, plus faculty credentials and assignments.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree required.
- 21+ year (12 months) in education, training, or relevant work experience (Master's may substitute).
- 33+ years healthcare industry experience or knowledge preferred.
- 4Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- 5Experience in higher education preferred.
- 6Skills in data collection, management, analysis, and reporting.
- 7Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
- 8Strong collaborative style to build relationships with healthcare systems.
- 9Commitment to inclusive education, diversity, and advocacy for adult learners.
- 10Ability to maintain professional standards and resolve issues effectively.
Salary Insight
$82 - $85k per year
