Overview

The Clinical Coordinator oversees daily clinical services within the LAYC Housing Department. This role leads staff supervision and ensures services align with social work best practices. What You'll Do11

  • 1Incorporate best practice model into housing programs’ staff practice
  • 2Standardize individual and group supervision based on evidence based approaches
  • 3Provide direct one on one clinical supervision at least once a month
  • 4Guide staff on clinical interventions and case management
  • 5Lead bi weekly meetings regarding challenging client cases
  • 6Assist in crisis response and emergency call coverage
  • 7Oversee documentation review and approval processes
  • 8Authorize mental health and substance abuse referrals
  • 9Develop quality assurance protocols for department consultations
  • 10Attend workshops and complete 40 hours of annual training
  • 11Participate in weekly supervision with Program Manager

Requirements11

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 2Master's Level Licensed Social Worker with supervisory experience
  • 3LICSW DC license authorized to provide clinical supervision
  • 4Minimum five year experience working with youth
  • 5Driver’s license and clean driving record
  • 6Ability to conduct individual group and family sessions
  • 7Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • 8Knowledge of community resources and cultural diversity
  • 9Commitment to youth development in respectful environments
  • 10Flexibility for occasional evenings and travel
  • 11Clean criminal and child abuse/neglect clearances
