Overview
Seeking a Clinical Audit Specialist to lead audits and advisory projects within Kaiser Permanente's integrated care delivery system. This senior technical leader will analyze patient safety and quality metrics using data-driven insights to improve clinical controls and operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate has extensive clinical experience and expertise in quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do11
- 1Promote learning by communicating information and providing advice to drive project progress
- 2Build collaborative relationships across audit quality and compliance teams
- 3Solicit and act on performance feedback while offering constructive guidance
- 4Lead risk assessments and audit planning to identify clinical risk factors
- 5Drive execution of multiple work streams addressing process gaps and sampling strategies
- 6Plan and coordinate resources to meet audit deadlines and budget constraints
- 7Remove performance obstacles and develop contingency plans for team members
- 8Lead risk assessment activities by determining priority projects based on expertise
- 9Create and update procedures while translating business strategy into actionable requirements
- 10Partner with leaders on risk matters and serve as internal consultant for mitigation strategies
- 11Develop strategy and set priorities for client areas through team collaboration
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor's degree in clinical field with minimum ten years audit or related experience
- 2Five years of project management experience
- 3Five years of clinical experience in hospital acute care settings
- 4Two years experience in quality improvement risk management audit or AR&L
- 5Master's degree preferred in healthcare administration nursing or related fields
- 6Registered Nurse license in any state
- 7Minimum four years of experience in regulatory and licensing compliance
- 8Experience with Microsoft Excel and technical communication skills
- 9Ability to work full-time day shifts in Oakland California
Salary Insight
$170 - $220k per year
