What You'll Do10
- 1Assist with activities of daily living
- 2Reposition and ambulate patients
- 3Make an occupied and unoccupied bed
- 4Transport patients, beds, supplies and equipment
- 5Collect, label and transport specimens
- 6Retrieve and sign out blood products
- 7Perform point of care testing
- 8Obtain vital signs and weights
- 9Maintain accurate intake and output measurements
- 10Remove Foley catheters and saline locks
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma/equivalent preferred
- 2Certified Nursing Assistant
- 3Nursing student with one medical-surgical clinical rotation
- 4Three months clinical care experience
- 5Successfully complete Winchester Hospital Clinical Associate Training Program
- 6Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English
- 7Basic computer skills
