Clinic LVN - Houston, TX Contract
Overview
This Clinic LVN owns nursing care delivery for patients across three Houston facilities (77396, 77014, 77025), reporting to a Nurse Supervisor or Manager. You will rotate between sites, applying clinical judgment to ensure safety and comfort for multiple patients. The role demands an active LVN License and BLS Certification. Work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, on a 3-month contract. This position offers competitive pay at $30-33/hour with benefits through Pride Health.
What You'll Do9
- 1Provide nursing care to patients in assigned clinical areas under supervision of a Nurse Supervisor or Manager.
- 2Apply clinical nursing knowledge and LVN skills to ensure patient safety and comfort per legal and professional standards.
- 3Prioritize and manage basic needs of multiple patients to organize effective care delivery.
- 4Rotate between three Houston locations (77396, 77014, 77025) as scheduled.
- 5Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in medical records.
- 6Administer medications and treatments as ordered, within LVN scope of practice.
- 7Communicate patient status changes to supervising nurse and healthcare team.
- 8Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment, following infection control protocols.
- 9Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and preparation for examinations.
Requirements8
- 1Active LVN License in the state of Texas.
- 2Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
- 32+ years of clinic experience in a healthcare setting.
- 4Ability to travel between three facilities in Houston (77396, 77014, 77025).
- 5Strong clinical judgment and ability to prioritize care for multiple patients.
- 6Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interaction.
- 7Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- 8Flexibility to work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule.
