You will own the client intake process for a high-growth law firm, handling 40+ inbound calls weekly and converting potential clients into retained cases. You'll orchestrate the full sales cycle from first contact to signed contract, using CRM systems to track leads and follow-ups. You'll collaborate with attorneys to ensure smooth transitions and drive revenue through persistent, empathetic communication. What You'll Do9

  • 1Conduct sales conversations with prospective clients to explain the firm's services and process, and to secure commitment for legal representation.
  • 2Present pre-determined attorney fees, answer questions about the legal process, and ask for the sale with confidence and empathy.
  • 3Handle objections gracefully, using active listening to address concerns without pressure.
  • 4Create contracts and collect initial payments, assisting with financing options when needed, then coordinate with the attorney for final acceptance.
  • 5Execute follow-up calls (2nd, 3rd, 4th) to re-engage potential clients who did not hire the firm initially, with persistence and care.
  • 6Track all outstanding electronic and mailed contracts, following up until signed or closed.
  • 7Oversee client onboarding and offboarding procedures, ensuring seamless transitions and documentation.
  • 8Maintain accurate data in CRM and spreadsheets, preparing weekly metrics reports on lead conversion, referral sources, and cost of acquisition for the owner.
  • 9Collaborate with legal team to ensure all client information is handled discreetly and in compliance with confidentiality standards.

Requirements8

  • 11+ years in sales, client services, or client-facing roles; legal industry experience a plus.
  • 2Proven ability to make outbound calls, follow up persistently, and close sales.
  • 3Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle emotional conversations professionally.
  • 4Detail-oriented and organized, with experience using CRM software and spreadsheets.
  • 5Self-motivated and proactive, able to identify tasks and execute without supervision.
  • 6Comfortable with metrics and accountability to performance goals.
  • 7Discreet and trustworthy with confidential client information.
  • 8Bonus: prior experience in a law firm, especially family law, civil litigation, or consumer law.
