What You'll Do11
- 1Provide assistance to Members in the produce department answering questions recommending products and offering safe handling tips
- 2Inspect rotate and store produce upon delivery ensuring all received items meet company standards
- 3Rotate produce on the sales floor to maintain optimal freshness and variety
- 4Ensure cases and display areas are fully stocked and keep the produce reserve organized
- 5Dates and rotates back stock items while maintaining organized storage
- 6Follow proper disposal guidelines for damaged or expired products
- 7Assist Fresh Manager with inventory and order processing as needed
- 8Clean and sanitize all produce equipment display fixtures and areas including the cooler and refrigerated cases
- 9Generate signage for produce goods and perform price checks when required
- 10Maintain all club policies and procedures
- 11Perform other duties as assigned including cross departmental tasks
Requirements7
- 15+ years working in a produce department
- 2Knowledge of fruit and vegetables preferred
- 3At least 18 years of age
- 4Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly
- 5Strong attention to detail for quality standards
- 6Commitment to safety and positive member interactions
- 7Willingness to work flexible hours in varying temperature environments
