Cleanroom Assembler, Medical Devices & Balloon Catheter Assembly
Overview
Cleanroom Assembler in a medical device environment will own precise assembly and inspection at scale. You will work on balloon catheter components under microscope and at bench, following detailed documentation and using measuring tools. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and assemble small medical device components in a cleanroom following documented procedures
- 2Operate machinery and load components with attention to safety and quality
- 3Inspect parts under microscope and with calipers or micrometers to verify quality
- 4Record measurements and production data accurately and complete basic math tasks
- 5Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and adhere to gowning and contamination controls
- 6Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet production goals and support process improvements
- 7Learn new assembly and inspection techniques as products evolve
- 8Perform quick visual inspections to identify defects and ensure parts meet specifications
- 9Unload completed parts and route to next process per quality standards
- 10Maintain consistent performance with mixed microscope and bench work
Requirements10
- 11–2+ years of recent manufacturing experience
- 2Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and follow cleanroom protocols
- 3Ability to read and use measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers
- 4Strong manual dexterity for handling very small parts
- 5Willingness to learn or use a microscope for inspection and assembly
- 6Ability to read write and perform basic math and document results
- 7Positive attitude and adaptability to new processes
- 8Comfort with ~40% microscope work and ~60% non microscope work
- 92+ years of experience in assembly or quality related roles
- 10Prior cleanroom experience and use of a microscope for inspection or assembly
