Cleaning Crew Leader, Commercial Office Maintenance
Overview
You will own nightly cleaning operations for a commercial office campus in New Albany, Ohio, ensuring every space meets hygiene and safety standards. You will lead a small crew, manage supply inventory, and uphold OSHA guidelines. This role demands precision with floor care equipment and chemical handling protocols. You will work 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, with optional extra hours, and report directly to the facilities manager.
What You'll Do8
- 1Own nightly cleaning of office floors, including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming VCT and carpet surfaces.
- 2Restock restroom dispensers, empty trash, and sanitize fixtures, mirrors, and partitions to meet CDC standards.
- 3Spot clean glass, windows, and walls, removing scuffs and marks for a polished appearance.
- 4Manage trash collection and liner replacement across all zones, including recycling bins.
- 5Operate buffer and burnisher equipment for floor restoration and maintenance.
- 6Inspect cleaning supplies and report low stock to management, ordering replacements as needed.
- 7Lead a crew of 2-3 cleaners, assigning tasks and verifying completion before sign-off.
- 8Uphold dress code and personal hygiene standards, arriving on time for the night shift.
Requirements7
- 11+ year in general cleaning or custodial roles, preferably in office settings.
- 2Valid Driver`s License and reliable transportation to and from New Albany site.
- 3Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- 4Night shift availability (6:30 PM - 9:00 PM) with willingness to work weekends if needed.
- 5Experience with floor care equipment like buffers and burnishers is preferred.
- 6Knowledge of chemical handling and safety procedures.
- 7Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow written instructions.
