Overview
As a Cleaner on our 2nd shift team, you'll own the daily custodial operations for a facility in Dallas, Texas. You'll work under the Custodial Manager to maintain cleanliness across offices, restrooms, and public areas. This part-time role requires no prior experience and offers a chance to build skills in professional cleaning. What You'll Do9
- 1Sweep, mop, and wash floors and surfaces inside buildings using commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines.
- 2Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas with backpack vacuums, spot cleaning and shampooing as directed.
- 3Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, and light fixtures, including high dusting.
- 4Wash windowsills, glass in interior doors, partitions, and specified windows, as well as entrance glass and trim.
- 5Clean bathrooms daily, damp wiping glass surfaces, emptying waste baskets, servicing soap and toilet paper dispensers, and scrubbing floors.
- 6Inspect for defects like clogged urinals or burnt-out lights and report issues to the Custodial Supervisor.
- 7Collect building trash daily, replace liners, and move containers to designated collection areas.
- 8Sweep or shovel snow from steps and walkways at entrances and connecting sidewalks as directed.
- 9Perform periodic tasks like high dusting, polishing leather and wood surfaces, and wall washing.
Requirements5
- 1No previous experience required for basic cleaning responsibilities.
- 2Ability to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team.
- 3Able to use cleaning tools and equipment, including a portable backpack vacuum.
- 4Attention to detail and a pride in delivering excellent service.
- 5Organization and high levels of energy and endurance for physical tasks.
