What You'll Do16
- 1Wash rinse and clean exterior of rail vehicles using approved agents and equipment
- 2Sanitize interior surfaces high-contact areas remove gum and graffiti sweep and mop floors
- 3Open and inspect light panels verify operation identify missing or damaged components
- 4Report needed repairs safety concerns faulty equipment to supervisor
- 5Perform general shop and work-area housekeeping maintain clean safe environment
- 6Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements6
- 1High School Diploma or GED and six months experience in janitorial or industrial cleaning
- 2Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures fundamental sanitization practices safe chemical handling graffiti removal techniques light fixture inspection
- 3Understanding of high-contact surface cleaning essential processes for identifying equipment needing repair
- 4Proficiency with computer and related software
- 5Physical stamina for standing walking and occasional lifting up to twenty pounds
- 6Ability to handle noisy distracting environments with time pressure and multi-tasking demands
