What You'll Do11
- 1Assist classroom teachers with daily instruction and classroom management
- 2Provide academic support to individual students and small groups
- 3Prepare instructional materials and learning centers
- 4Maintain safe organized engaging classroom environment
- 5Supervise students during recess lunch and transitions
- 6Encourage positive behavior using restorative justice practices
- 7Monitor student progress and communicate concerns
- 8Support academic emotional social and spiritual growth
- 9Assist High School Scholars Coordinator with application materials and deadlines
- 10Organize workshop interviews and family information sessions
- 11Ensure successful completion of admissions requirements and scholarships
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2High school diploma required
- 3Strong communication and organizational skills
- 4Ability to collaborate with faculty staff students and families
- 5Commitment to diverse communities and Catholic mission
- 6Physical ability to lift 10-15 pounds
- 7Experience working in elementary classrooms preferred
- 8Familiarity with restorative justice practices
- 9Mandated reporter status
- 10Availability until 4pm twice monthly for faculty meetings
