Overview

As a Classroom Aide at Bridge Quest Academy, you will support K-12 students in online coursework and project-based learning, helping them build academic skills, confidence, and independence in a small, engaging microschool environment. You'll collaborate with Learning Coaches to facilitate hands-on experiences and provide individualized support to diverse learners. This role offers paid RBT certification training within 90 days, with a focus on neurodivergent learners. You'll join a team dedicated to reimagining education through personalized, project-based approaches.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Support students completing online coursework on platforms like Khan Academy and Google Classroom, keeping them engaged and answering questions.
  • 2Assist Learning Coaches in facilitating project-based learning, including preparing materials and guiding small groups in collaborative projects.
  • 3Provide individualized support to help students build academic skills, confidence, and independence in their learning paths.
  • 4Encourage positive peer relationships and collaboration during classroom group projects and activities.
  • 5Supervise students during lunch, recess, and transitions, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
  • 6Maintain an organized and welcoming classroom, modeling school values of respect, responsibility, and curiosity.
  • 7Support neurodivergent learners by adapting materials and strategies to meet their needs, ensuring inclusive participation.
  • 8Document student progress and communicate observations to Learning Coaches to inform instruction.

Requirements8

  • 1High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2Experience working with children in an educational or youth program setting.
  • 3Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff and students.
  • 4Ability to work collaboratively with Learning Coaches and other staff.
  • 5Willingness to obtain RBT certification within 90 days (company-paid training provided).
  • 6Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, or related field (preferred).
  • 7Experience with project-based learning or alternative school models (preferred).
  • 8Familiarity supporting neurodivergent learners (preferred).
