What You'll Do11

  • 1Improve CI support to acquisition process and recommend countermeasures for NRO processes
  • 2Integrate CI requirements across Directorates and Offices while supporting expert development
  • 3Manage implementation of counterintelligence projects to thwart foreign intelligence threats
  • 4Conduct CI Awareness Briefings and Debriefings to enhance threat recognition capabilities
  • 5Generate Intelligence Information Reports documenting CI relevant information
  • 6Coordinate with CID on technical support and investigative analysis requests
  • 7Identify and mitigate insider threats through research of foreign organization interests
  • 8Deliver tailored CI support to OPSEC RDA DCI and SCRM programs
  • 9Establish day-to-day battle rhythm based on operational requirements and program priorities
  • 10Conduct site visits to cleared industry locations and coordinate with CPSOs
  • 11Provide CI threat reports addressing espionage and terrorism with investigative agencies

Requirements12

  • 1Documented CI discipline experience through progressive tours of increasing complexity
  • 2Strong interviewing and elicitation skills with ability to prepare narrative reports
  • 3Proven ability to analyze information and prioritize investigative leads
  • 4Knowledge of DoW and IC security policies and procedures
  • 5Leadership skills with effective representational and briefing abilities
  • 6Experience establishing liaisons with law enforcement and IC representatives
  • 7Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences
  • 8Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • 9Prior CI or Security tour at NRO preferred
  • 10Experience with DoW digital media collection and SAPs
  • 11Familiarity with Special Access Programs and contractor interactions
  • 12Ability to review and improve existing policies and procedures
