Collection Management Analyst, Intelligence Community
Overview
You will own the full lifecycle of intelligence collection requirements, from development to prioritization, for a national security mission. You will assess collection posture across multiple disciplines, identify gaps, and coordinate with Intelligence Community partners to ensure decision makers receive timely intelligence. You will sit at the intersection of collection, mission management, and strategy, shaping collection plans that address current and emerging threats. This role offers direct exposure to senior government officials and interagency working groups, making your analytical output critical to national security decisions.
What You'll Do10
- 1Develop and manage intelligence collection requirements that drive mission objectives from day one.
- 2Assess and monitor collection posture across multiple intelligence disciplines to align with counterintelligence priorities.
- 3Identify collection gaps, overlaps, and shortfalls, then recommend collection strategies to close them.
- 4Coordinate with Intelligence Community collection managers, analysts, and stakeholders to synchronize collection activities.
- 5Analyze intelligence reporting and collection performance to measure effectiveness against priority requirements.
- 6Develop collection plans and strategies that address current and emerging threats to U.S. national security interests.
- 7Provide subject matter expertise on collection processes, requirements management, and collection operations.
- 8Support resource allocation decisions by identifying collection priorities and recommending changes to improve mission effectiveness.
- 9Prepare and deliver briefings for senior officials, interagency working groups, and Intelligence Community leadership on collection posture and gaps.
- 10Collaborate with collection professionals across the Intelligence Community to ensure comprehensive coverage and integration.
Requirements7
- 1Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
- 28+ years in intelligence collection management, intelligence analysis, mission management, counterintelligence, or related national security disciplines.
- 3Experience developing, managing, or assessing intelligence collection requirements and activities.
- 4Experience supporting Intelligence Community or DoD intelligence missions.
- 5Working knowledge of Intelligence Community collection disciplines, collection management processes, and requirements management frameworks.
- 6Experience producing intelligence assessments, collection plans, briefing materials, or decision-support products for senior government consumers.
- 7Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills with proven ability to brief senior leaders.
