What You'll Do10

  • 1Perform L1–L3 pre-commissioning activities on HVAC systems in a data center construction environment.
  • 2Complete mechanical and electrical punch list items under project leadership supervision.
  • 3Complete HVAC and chiller punch list items, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
  • 4Carry out minor electrical, mechanical, and HVAC repairs as directed, following safety protocols.
  • 5Support installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment, boilers, chillers, and mechanical systems.
  • 6Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and implement corrective actions.
  • 7Assist with preventive maintenance tasks to ensure reliable operation of HVAC and related systems.
  • 8Handle refrigerant during repairs in compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
  • 9Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all applicable safety protocols during maintenance activities.
  • 10Collaborate with other technicians and project leaders to complete tasks and punch list items on schedule.

  • 1Hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance and repair within industrial or construction environments.
  • 2HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting skills, including work on chillers and boilers.
  • 3Electrical maintenance skills to complete minor electrical punch list items safely.
  • 4Ability to perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and mechanical systems.
  • 5Experience with troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • 6Proficiency in installation and service work on HVAC and mechanical equipment.
  • 7Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities for mechanical, electrical, and HVAC issues.
  • 8Understanding and practical application of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • 9OSHA 10 certification.
  • 10NFPA 70E certification (or willingness to obtain prior to onboarding).
  • 11EPA Universal 608 certification for handling refrigerants.
  • 12Ability to provide and use personal tools appropriate for mechanical and HVAC work.
