What You'll Do7
- 1Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions for diverse client populations.
- 2Perform comprehensive psychological assessments to develop tailored treatment plans.
- 3Provide crisis intervention for clients with acute emotional distress or behavioral health emergencies.
- 4Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help clients build effective coping mechanisms.
- 5Maintain accurate client records and progress notes in compliance with ethical standards.
- 6Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals on integrated care.
- 7Stay current with counseling psychology research to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
Requirements8
- 1Master's degree or higher in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or related field.
- 2Valid Maryland licensure as LGPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-C.
- 3Proven experience providing psychotherapy to diverse populations.
- 4Strong knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and behavioral health principles.
- 5Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ethical practice commitment.
- 6Preferred: Experience with children and adolescents.
- 7Preferred: Cultural competency in serving diverse communities.
- 8Preferred: Experience in group therapy facilitation.
