Overview
Provide mental health evaluations, crisis interventions, and individual, group, and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Join a team dedicated to holistic, person-centered care, working across multiple school sites in Baltimore. This contract role offers flexibility with part-time or full-time schedules and competitive pay. $72,500 - $165,000 per year. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and maintain compliance with COMAR regulations.
What You'll Do9
- 1Conduct mental health evaluations and crisis interventions, then develop and monitor treatment plans for assigned clients.
- 2Provide individual, group, and family therapy, tailoring interventions to each client's needs.
- 3Coordinate client access to community resources and other programs, making referrals when appropriate.
- 4Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with COMAR regulations and documentation standards.
- 5Enter and report data accurately to meet program requirements.
- 6Participate in team meetings, in-services, and clinical supervision, and serve on quality improvement teams.
- 7Work across multiple school sites as needed to meet clinical demand and productivity goals.
- 8Uphold confidentiality guidelines, the Professional Code of Ethics, and facility policies, ensuring a safe and clean environment.
- 9Pursue professional development to stay current in the field and complete other duties as directed.
Requirements8
- 1Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field (required).
- 21+ years conducting therapy sessions (required).
- 32+ years in mental health counseling (required).
- 4Maryland license: LGPC, LMSW, LCPC, or LCSW-C (required).
- 5Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to engage diverse populations.
- 6Proven ability to perform individual, group, and family therapy.
- 7Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- 8Ability to navigate the community and attend meetings or educational programs.
