Childcare Center Administrator, CCDF Grants & Budget - Native Community
Overview
The role owns administrative operations for the Child Care Center, supporting grant tracking, budget management, and compliance across tribal, federal, state, and licensing requirements. You will collaborate with the Bright Horizons team and Tribe to coordinate payroll, procurement, events, and reporting at scale. This position offers cross-department coordination, data-driven decision making, and opportunities to support culturally-informed practices. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and manage grant tracking systems and reporting for CCDF and related grants
- 2Design and maintain records, schedules, and reports to support efficient department operations
- 3Coordinate procurement processes including payments, POs, RFPs, and contracts for the Center Department
- 4Develop training and coordination plans to meet licensing, trauma-informed care, and Snoqualmie cultural practices
- 5Support planning and logistics for tribal and community events
- 6Gather and analyze data related to departmental projects and programs
- 7Prepare communication materials to support projects and community engagement
- 8Schedule and coordinate external educators and department educators
- 9Oversee expense tracking, grant reporting timelines, and preparation of required materials
- 10Support cross-department communication and documentation within the Community Services tower
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, social services, or related field
- 2LEVEL I: six (6) years of progressively responsible administrative experience including scheduling and recordkeeping; three (3) years in finance and grant management; three (3) years in contract and procurement management
- 3Experience with CCDF grants or related funding programs; working with Native Communities preferred
- 4LEVEL II: three (3) years of CCDF grant experience including reporting, monitoring, and compliance; one (1) year supporting Early Achievers requirements; three (3) years working with Native Communities
- 5Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Zoom) and project management tools
- 6Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- 7Ability to manage budgets, procurement, and compliance with minimal supervision
- 8Valid Washington State Driver’s License
- 9Ability to pass pre-employment background and DCYF background checks; CPR/First Aid within 120 days; Mandatory Reporter Training within 90 days
