Child Development Specialist (Behavior Technician) - Gardena
Overview
Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center seeks compassionate professionals to deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children in Gardena. The ideal candidate will provide one-on-one ABA therapy using positive reinforcement and individualized strategies to foster communication, social, and daily living skills. What You'll Do9
- 1Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes
- 2Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
- 3Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills
- 4Reduce challenging behaviors using evidence-based strategies
- 5Collect accurate session data and complete clinical documentation
- 6Collaborate with supervising clinicians to support client progress
- 7Communicate professionally with families and caregivers
- 8Attend ongoing training and team meetings
- 9Deliver 2–5 hour sessions tailored to client needs
Requirements8
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- 3Available a minimum of 15 hours per week
- 4Afternoon/evening availability between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM
- 5Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance and registration
- 6Strong communication, professionalism, and organizational skills
- 7Comfortable learning data collection and behavior intervention techniques
