- 8Serve with Delta Board on real estate oversight
- 9Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
- 10Enhance budgeting tools and manage performance
- 11Oversee reporting and analysis for stakeholders
- 12Facilitate grant budget creation and management
- 13Ensure compliance and optimize cash reserves
- 14Identify and mitigate financial risks
- 15Establish scalable financial systems and processes
- 16Serve on Board and committees including audit
- 17Partner with HR on benefits and fiduciary matters
- 18Lead finance team with Controller and Director of Finance
- 19Act as liaison between finance and operational departments
- 20Drive change initiatives improving financial systems
- 21Build trust and credibility across mission-driven team
- 22Identify process improvements and implement changes
- 23Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements15
- 1Bachelor’s degree required; MBA MPP CPA or similar advanced degree preferred
- 28–12+ years progressive financial leadership experience with charter school focus
- 3Proven experience with public funding, audits, and regulatory compliance
- 4Capital financing expertise including bonds and facilities planning
- 5Partnership experience with Boards of Directors or Finance Committees
- 6Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- 7Pass TB test and background check
- 8Demonstrated experience with grant management and ROI evaluation
- 9Strategic mindset for fast-paced growth-oriented environments
- 10Exceptional communicator with executive presence
