The Chairperson oversees the academic leadership of Mathematics Statistics and Pre-College Mathematics at Columbus State Community College. This full-time role involves strategic program management budget oversight faculty development and student success initiatives. Requirements11
- 15+ years leading academic programs or departmental administration
- 2Master’s degree in mathematics education or related field
- 3State Motor Vehicle Operator’s License or ability to obtain one
- 43 years of educational administration experience
- 5Proficiency in Python AWS React Kubernetes
- 6Certified Professional Coach designation
- 7Experience with LMS platforms and student information systems
- 8Knowledge of state licensing requirements for instructional roles
- 9Ability to collaborate with faculty unions and external partners
- 10Strong analytical skills for budget management and strategic planning
