Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Evening Shift
Overview
You'll provide routine daily nursing care to residents, focusing on preserving independence and delivering compassionate service. Working with the CNA team at Landmark of Hyde Park, you'll support a resident-centered care plan. What You'll Do8
- 1Deliver daily nursing care per resident care plans, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- 2Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing supervisor promptly.
- 3Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
- 4Support meal times by helping with feeding and ensuring hydration needs are met.
- 5Maintain a clean, organized environment, handling linens and supplies as needed.
- 6Document care provided and observations accurately in resident records.
- 7Respond to resident call lights and address needs in a timely manner.
- 8Collaborate with nursing team to adjust care plans based on resident condition.
Requirements7
- 1Valid CNA certification in Illinois.
- 26+ months of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
- 3Physical ability to lift and transfer residents up to 50 lbs.
- 4Current CPR/BLS certification.
- 5High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6Ability to work the 3pm-11pm shift, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- 7Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
