What You'll Do11
- 1Deliver patient care promoting safety and well being
- 2Perform preliminary physical tests and obtain vital signs
- 3Administer medications and vaccines using various routes
- 4Draw and collect blood samples for lab analysis
- 5Schedule diagnostic testing and follow up appointments
- 6Document patient plans of care and communicate results
- 7Prepare and sterilize instruments while maintaining equipment
- 8Keep patient exam rooms clean and organized
- 9Escalate non-routine issues to practice managers
- 10Ensure safety checklists and quality controls are completed
- 11Provide patient safety and protect privacy rights
Requirements6
- 1H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
- 21 year medical assistant experience within last three years
- 3Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training program within 90 days
- 4CMA certification required
- 5ACLS preferred or BLS current every 2 years
- 6Strong work ethic positive attitudes collaborative teamwork
