You will own under-car repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks across a high-volume shop with 2,000+ locations nationwide. Work within a team of certified technicians and report directly to the service manager. What You'll Do8
- 1Inspect and diagnose brake systems, steering, and suspension components on customer vehicles.
- 2Perform brake repairs, strut and shock replacements, and alignments using ASE standards.
- 3Complete state-manded inspections and pass vehicles per Florida regulations.
- 4Change oil and filters, check fluids, and replace worn parts like belts and hoses.
- 5Mount, dismount, rotate, and balance tires with precision using Hunter equipment.
- 6Document all work in the shop management system and communicate findings to service advisors.
- 7Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- 8Assist senior mechanics with complex diagnostics and engine performance issues.
Requirements6
- 12+ years of experience in automotive repair or a combination of education and training.
- 2Valid state inspection license for Florida.
- 3ASE certification in at least one of these areas: A4 Steering & Suspension, A5 Brakes, A6 Electrical, A7 Heating & Air Conditioning, or A8 Engine Performance.
- 4Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
- 5Own a comprehensive set of personal tools for under-car repairs.
- 6Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
