Overview
Centria Autism seeks a Center-Based Behavior Technician for its Life Skills Autism Academy. The role involves delivering individualized ABA therapy to young children in a high-commitment center-based setting. Candidates will lead 1:1 and group sessions using intensive teaching and natural environment strategies. This position offers full-time Monday-Friday hours with competitive pay and benefits.
What You'll Do11
- 1Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training
- 2Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and reduction protocols from individualized treatment plans created by BCBA/BCBA supervisors
- 3Record and summarize observable client behavior data on mobile devices
- 4Assist parents and caregivers with training aligned to treatment protocols
- 5Maintain a clean safe organized work and therapy environment
- 6Collaborate with BCBA/BC to prepare client materials and conduct behavior reduction assessments
- 7Report critical incidents and safety concerns promptly
- 8Perform CPR and First Aid certification annually
- 9Undergo company background check and TB testing
- 10Execute data entry and navigation of digital applications
- 11Communicate effectively with families about client progress
Requirements10
- 1Current Registered Behavior Technician certification from BACB
- 2Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- 3Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- 4Age 18 or older
- 5Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical tasks including floor work
- 6Strong attention to detail and ability to repeat instructions precisely
- 7Proficiency with technology for data recording and digital tools
- 8Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 9Cultural competency and flexibility in diverse environments
