What You'll Do11
- 1Load delivery truck safely following company policy
- 2Work with warehouse associates to load products
- 3Inspect truck and trailer for DOT standards
- 4Communicate vehicle safety issues to supervisors
- 5Coordinate delivery dates and times with customers
- 6Drive to customer locations within specified distance
- 7Unload materials according to customer instructions
- 8Maintain DOT/FMCSA and OSHA compliance
- 9Adhere to DSG safety policies and vehicle programs
- 10Assist with warehouse tasks during non delivery periods
- 11Operate forklift and use scanners for inventory tracking
Requirements9
- 1Valid Class A CDL with current medical card
- 2Current driving record
- 3Basic product and warehouse knowledge
- 4Attention to detail
- 5Ability to lift 70-325lbs using mechanical devices
- 6Prior computer and RF scanning experience
- 73-5 years of relevant experience
- 8Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- 9Physical stamina for demanding work environment
