CDL B Driver, Lumber & Building Materials Delivery
Overview
Own site-to-site deliveries at scale for a lumber and building materials supplier. You will operate box trucks, flatbeds, and forklifts to move materials to customer jobsites. Collaborate with yard and operations teams to ensure timely, accurate deliveries and safe handling. This role blends driving, loading, and customer service to support project workflows.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build daily delivery routes and execute on-time deliveries using box trucks, flatbeds, and Moffett forklifts
- 2Drive and load/unload lumber and building materials while ensuring proper securement and DOT compliance
- 3Assist with yard maintenance and material handling tasks to keep operations efficient
- 4Maintain vehicle and equipment safety through routine checks and proactive maintenance
- 5Provide exceptional customer service and accurate documentation to customers during every delivery
Requirements7
- 1Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- 2Experience delivering lumber and building materials
- 3Ability to operate delivery trucks and forklifts as required
- 4Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- 5Physically capable of heavy lifting and performing demanding tasks
- 6Excellent teamwork and customer service skills
- 7On-site availability Monday–Friday, with overtime opportunities
