What You'll Do9
- 1Operate a day cab hauling containers on chassis within a 250-mile radius of Hutchins, TX.
- 2Manage drop-and-hook freight for consistent local runs, with some live loading and unloading.
- 3Drive a Tuesday through Saturday night shift, with weekend and holiday work as needed.
- 4Complete ~1,000 miles per week on local routes, hitting delivery windows and safety standards.
- 5Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, logging hours and maintaining compliance with DOT regulations.
- 6Communicate with dispatchers and customers to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
- 7Handle freight securely with straps and chains, and secure containers for transport.
- 8Document mileage, hours, and stop activity per company policies.
- 9Work as a slip-seat driver, sharing equipment with other team members.
