What You'll Do11
- 1Drive to properties and conduct inspections to evaluate coverage and prepare Xactimate estimates
- 2Settle claims on site or remotely using ClaimsX Video Collaboration platform
- 3Lead investigations by reviewing damage and interpreting policies for coverage determination
- 4Communicate clearly with customers via phone email and video to guide them through the claims process
- 5Negotiate settlements with customers vendors and claimants following legal standards
- 6Utilize tools like estimate software and job aids to solve problems quickly in fast‑paced settings
- 7Maintain accurate records in a claims system while protecting company finances
- 8Travel frequently and work weekends and holidays as needed
- 9Carry a 50‑pound ladder and access roofs up to a 6/12 pitch
- 10Obtain necessary adjuster or appraiser licenses within 60 days of hire
- 11Submit to background investigation before joining
Requirements9
- 1Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 90% of the time
- 2Ability to work weekends and holidays based on claims schedule
- 3Strong critical thinking and technical skills for accurate damage assessment
- 4Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for customer service
- 5Proficiency with Xactimate or similar estimating software
- 6Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload for remote work
- 7Driver’s license required; some locations may need additional state licensing
- 8Resident producer license must be surrendered if currently held
- 9Background check with Department of Labor required for adjuster or appraiser license
