Cashier, Retail Store - Dairy Queen
Overview
You will own the front-of-store customer experience at Dairy Queen, processing transactions and promoting products at high volume. You'll work alongside a team of 5-10 staff to maintain merchandising standards and drive sales through demos and upselling. This role offers hands-on training in POS systems and upselling techniques, with growth potential into supervisory roles.
What You'll Do7

- 7Use effective phone etiquette to answer customer calls, assist with inquiries, and take orders.
Requirements8
- 1Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- 21+ year of retail or customer service experience preferred.
- 3Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts.
- 4Strong communication skills to engage customers confidently and clearly.
- 5Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
- 6Experience with grocery store operations or retail sales environments preferred.
- 7Knowledge of merchandising, product demos, upselling techniques, and stock management.
- 8Excellent customer service skills combined with friendly phone etiquette.
