Cashier Lead, Food Service & Customer Experience
Overview
Own cashier operations in a high-volume outlet at ASU-C-Store Markets with responsibility for guest service, cash handling, and team guidance. Manage front-of-house tasks, inventory, and daily procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency at scale. Collaborate with team to maintain sanitation, product readiness, and smooth service moments. What You'll Do8
- 1Build and operate a register/POS ensuring accurate cash and credit transactions
- 2Lead and delegate daily tasks to cashiers to meet service goals
- 3Guide staff on customer service, cash handling, product knowledge, and processes
- 4Count, balance, and deposit cash, and maintain cashier records
- 5Adhere to cash handling policies and opening/closing procedures
- 6Maintain inventory levels, stock products, and replenish as needed
- 7Assist with unit cleanliness and sanitation during operating hours and after service
- 8Train new cashiers and supervise to ensure consistent guest experiences
Requirements9
- 1Requires previous customer service experience
- 2Requires previous cash handling experience
- 3Requires basic math & counting skills
- 4Experience in a supervisory or related role preferred
- 5Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
- 6Able to demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills
- 7Must follow dress code and workplace policies
- 8Complete Food Handling training and alcohol service training as required
- 9Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, standing
