What You'll Do7

  • 1Mix plastering materials properly for each job.
  • 2Apply plaster to interior and exterior surfaces using hawk, trowel, Darby, and slicker.
  • 3Work with dots and screeds to ensure level surfaces.
  • 4Apply plaster coats in three stages: scratch, brown, and finish.
  • 5Install lathing and plastering bases including channel iron and wire lath.
  • 6Perform dust control and clean up after each work session.
  • 7Travel to assigned developments within Manhattan as directed by the Neighborhood Administrator.
