Caregiver / Home Health Aide in Boston
Overview
Provide compassionate care to seniors across Massachusetts as part of Associated Home Care, an independent non-franchise agency. You will assist with daily activities, personal care, and companionship to help clients live safely at home. Your work directly impacts client well-being and supports their independence. What You'll Do6
- 1Assist clients with light housekeeping, errands, and meal preparation to maintain a safe home environment.
- 2Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, mobility support, and incontinence care with dignity.
- 3Offer companionship and conversation to promote emotional well-being and reduce isolation.
- 4Give medication reminders as part of the daily routine to ensure adherence.
- 5Document daily activities, client well-being, and any condition changes in care logs.
- 6Transport clients to appointments and errands using reliable personal vehicle.
Requirements6
- 1High School Diploma or GED (required)
- 2Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
- 3HHA Certificate or CNA License preferred, but not required (training provided)
- 4Open availability weekdays and weekends strongly preferred
- 5Pass a criminal background check
- 61-2 years experience as a CNA, PCA, Homemaker, or Companion is a plus
