Overview
As a Caregiver you will bring companionship and practical support to seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes in Salt Lake City. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and safety, while offering transportation and medication reminders. What You'll Do10
- 1Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- 2Assist with personal hygiene and mobility needs
- 3Prepare healthy meals and monitor dietary requirements
- 4Maintain a safe home environment and assist with transfers
- 5Provide transportation to appointments and social activities
- 6Give timely medication reminders and track adherence
- 7Document observations and report changes to care team
- 8Follow care plans and maintain client confidentiality
- 9Support clients with dementia or behavioral care needs as appropriate
- 10Attend training sessions and participate in team meetings
Requirements10
- 118 years or older
- 2Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- 3Eligible to work in the USA
- 4Able to pass a background check
- 5Experience with dementia and behavioral care preferred
- 6Experience using hoyer lift and gait belt preferred
- 7Starting pay $17.00–$18.25/hour depending on experience and credentials
- 8Weekend and weekday availability preferred
- 9Ability to pass TB testing and health screening as required
- 10Strong communication and compassion for seniors
