What You'll Do11
- 1Position patient for optimal exposure while assessing skin integrity
- 2Provide visualization of operative sites using proper techniques
- 3Assist with hemostasis using permanent and temporary methods
- 4Participate in volume replacement or auto-transfusion techniques
- 5Apply appropriate wound dressing techniques
- 6Secure drainage systems to tissues
- 7Maintain hospital policies and safety standards
- 8Adhere to university asset protection protocols
- 9Perform additional duties as required
- 10Document patient assessments and treatment procedures
- 11Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure procedural success
Requirements10
- 1Valid Basis Life Support (BLS) certification
- 2Valid Surgical Assistant (SA-C) certification
- 3Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- 4Ability to complete assignments accurately and with attention to detail
- 5Strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities
- 6Discretion when handling confidential patient information
- 7Flexibility to work evenings nights and weekends
