Overview
Lead Capital Project Manager IV overseeing design construction and maintenance of pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities in Rancho Cordova. Manage internal engineering design maintenance staff and external contractors to deliver safe on time within budget projects aligned with regulatory quality and safety standards.
What You'll Do11
- 1Coordinate work activities of internal engineering design maintenance staff and external contractors to support successful execution of assigned capital projects
- 2Independently manage day-to-day project execution ensuring scope schedule budget and quality expectations are met
- 3Track project progress against milestones budgetary guidelines and performance indicators
- 4Prepare and deliver clear accurate project status updates and reports to management
- 5Develop and maintain project schedules cost estimates forecasts and documentation following standard project management practices
- 6Select negotiate and manage external consultants vendors and service providers according to procurement guidelines
- 7Identify routine project risks issues and deviations implement mitigation actions and escalate higher risk matters
- 8Support compliance with GMP safety and site standards throughout design construction and turnover phases
- 9Participate in project closeout activities including documentation handoff and lessons learned
- 10Assist with financial reconciliation and turnover documentation during project closeout
- 11Provide informal guidance or knowledge sharing to junior team members
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Construction Management Facilities Management or related technical discipline
- 27 years of experience managing facility construction maintenance or capital projects in industrial manufacturing or regulated environment
- 3Project Management certification such as PMP preferred
- 4Strong oral and written communication skills
- 5Ability to collaborate effectively within cross functional teams
- 6Working knowledge of GMP and regulated manufacturing environments
