What You'll Do8
- 1Manage cake out-dates daily to ensure freshness and quality
- 2Receive and process cake orders from customers and internal systems
- 3Manage cake and icing inventory, tracking usage and ordering supplies
- 4Prepare icings and decorate cakes using Wilton tips and airbrush tools
- 5Maintain the cake decorating station, following sanitation procedures
- 6Stock and merchandise cake displays to meet quality standards
- 7Support deli and bakery areas when needed, covering shifts
- 8Fill and condition the cake case throughout each shift
Requirements6
- 11+ year cake decorating experience in a bakery or retail setting
- 2Skill in piping and fondant work for custom designs
- 3Familiarity with Meijer sanitation and safety protocols
- 4Attention to detail for intricate decorations
- 5Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
