What You'll Do8
- 1Design and decorate cakes, including flowers and lettering, using decorating bags, tips, and nozzles.
- 2Plan bakery production to ensure consistent quality and accurate decorative designs, following recipe measurements and instructions.
- 3Operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment, complying with food safety and sanitation standards.
- 4Use handheld technology to make immediate decisions on production, ordering, and training, with the member in mind.
- 5Drive bakery performance by enforcing quality and date control standards, reducing waste, and preparing for seasonal events such as holidays, graduations, and family celebrations.
- 6Assist members with purchasing decisions, resolve issues, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- 7Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educating associates on tools, tasks, and resources to maintain in-stock levels and control shrinkage.
- 8Coach and mentor new associates, demonstrating respectful and supportive teamwork to uphold company values.
Requirements8
- 16 months experience in a fresh production area.
- 2Must be 18 years or older.
- 3Complete all job-required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period.
- 4Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with positive energy.
