
CAD Engineer II, Contract, Andover MA
Overview
You will own CAD model and drawing creation for complex electromechanical assemblies at a top aerospace firm. Creo Parametric and Windchill are your primary tools. You will collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers on 5+ active programs. Your work directly supports prototype builds and production releases. This contract role offers a competitive pay rate of $49.8/hr and a 9-80 schedule.
What You'll Do7
- 1Create and modify 3D CAD models and detailed drawings using Creo Parametric
- 2Manage CAD data and revisions in Windchill PLM system
- 3Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure design intent and manufacturability
- 4Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and ensure GD&T compliance
- 5Release engineering drawings for prototype and production
- 6Support design reviews and incorporate feedback from cross-functional teams
- 7Maintain CAD standards and best practices across projects
Requirements7
- 13+ years of experience in CAD modeling and drafting
- 2Proficiency in Creo Parametric (Pro/E) and Windchill
- 3Strong knowledge of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards
- 4Experience with electromechanical or aerospace components
- 5Ability to interpret engineering requirements and create detailed drawings
- 6Associate's degree or equivalent technical training
- 7US Citizenship or permanent residency required due to ITAR
