What You'll Do8

  • 1Greet and welcome patients as they enter the office to create a great first impression of our team.
  • 2Manage front office duties, including answering phones, checking office mail and email, and communicating with patients and insurance companies.
  • 3Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and records.
  • 4Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers in the office.
  • 5File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims, verification of benefits, and explanation of coverage.
  • 6Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivables.
  • 7Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients.
  • 8Partner with the providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office potential.

  • 1High School Diploma/GED.
  • 21 year of dental front office work experience.
  • 3Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • 4Dentrix or other dental software experience.
  • 5Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Teams experience.
  • 6Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
  • 7Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • 8Adaptable to changing workflows and team dynamics.
  • 9Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • 10Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
