Business Intelligence Manager
Overview
Leadership role overseeing strategic planning and execution of business intelligence solutions at Midwest Veterinary Supply. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design analytics capabilities and drive data-informed decisions.
What You'll Do11
- 1Collaborate with Midwest leadership and stakeholders across Sales Marketing Supply Chain HR Compliance Finance to design analytics solutions
- 2Lead a team of analysts developers and partners to deliver BI solutions
- 3Hire mentor and set individual and team goals
- 4Prioritize workloads align with company objectives enforce quality standards and create growth opportunities
- 5Define and execute enterprise BI vision including scoping feasibility and delivery of analytics solutions
- 6Research tools lead product decisions balance risk dependencies and ROI
- 7Develop roadmaps to drive adoption align BI strategy with business goals provide organizational guidance
- 8Lead and manage projects prioritizing high-impact initiatives define scope through kickoffs align stakeholder expectations and ensure successful delivery
- 9Maintain prioritized backlog incorporate user feedback and manage leadership expectations
- 10Supervise 3-8 direct reports
- 11Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements6
- 1High School diploma/GED required Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 25-7 years hands-on technical experience preferred Business Intelligence experience
- 32+ years leadership of BI team with proven architecture and delivery track record
- 43+ years data modelling or content building for self-service BI analytics and end-user applications including Cognos Analytics Planning Analytics TM1
- 5Experience with relational databases such as Db2 Oracle MS SQL Server or similar
- 6Excellent written verbal communication skills technical documentation proficiency SQL intermediate advanced proficiency data warehousing concepts ETL tools DataStage Microsoft Excel
