Overview

HarmonyTech seeks a Business Development Specialist to drive growth for its IT solutions and services provider serving federal financial regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate will research and qualify opportunities while shaping capture strategy in partnership with senior leadership. This role involves leading pipeline management and representing the company at industry events.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Independently research federal opportunities and deliver analysis for decision making
  • 2Identify and prioritize leads while maintaining accurate pipeline reporting
  • 3Lead customer call planning and represent HarmonyTech at meetings
  • 4Develop competitive intelligence and agency priority assessments
  • 5Build and maintain relationships with industry partners and teaming contacts
  • 6Contribute to business development strategy sessions with research backed insights
  • 7Represent HarmonyTech at networking events as a visible team member
  • 8Own internal BD operations including CRM tools and SharePoint sites
  • 9Minimum requirement includes bachelor's degree and 2-4 years professional experience
  • 10Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and independent judgment management
  • 11Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities

Requirements11

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing Communications or related field
  • 22-4 years professional experience in business development consulting
  • 3Experience with federal acquisition procurement processes
  • 4Familiarity with CRM tools such as GovWin Salesforce or equivalent
  • 5Knowledge of federal socio-economic programs and capture methodologies
  • 6Understanding of financial regulatory sectors and relevant government agencies
  • 7Ability to work independently in a flat organizational structure
  • 8Strong oral and written communication abilities
  • 9Experience presenting to or engaging directly with clients
  • 10Desire to relocate to Washington DC area for hybrid work arrangement
  • 11Eligibility to obtain security clearance if required by future contracts
