You will own the analytics roadmap for a portfolio of Medicaid programs, translating raw claims and clinical data into executive-level insights. You will work with a cross-functional team of data engineers, actuaries, and program managers to drive cost containment and quality outcomes. - 1Build predictive models to identify high-risk members using SQL, Python, and R.
- 2Design dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to monitor program performance and flag anomalies.
- 3Drive data quality audits across multiple state data feeds, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- 4Lead quarterly business reviews with state clients, presenting utilization and cost trends.
- 5Scale reporting automation using Alteryx and Excel macros to reduce manual effort.
- 6Debug data pipeline issues by querying Snowflake and AWS Redshift to trace root causes.
- 7Ship a member segmentation model within the first 90 days, targeting high-cost chronic conditions.
- 8Collaborate with data engineers to optimize ETL processes for faster insight delivery.
Requirements7
- 15+ years in business analytics, healthcare consulting, or data science.
- 23+ years writing complex SQL queries and building reports with Tableau or Power BI.
- 3Hands-on experience with Python or R for statistical analysis and modeling.
- 4Strong understanding of healthcare claims data, including ICD-10 and CPT codes.
- 5Proficiency in Excel and Alteryx for data manipulation and reporting.
- 6Proven ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- 7Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
