Business Analyst, Pharma NDC Transformation
Overview
Lead Business Analysis for Cardinal Health Information Technology overseeing development of computing and information services. Owns end-to-end delivery of IT solutions driving business value through analysis of business needs and definition of requirements using new and existing technologies. Partners with stakeholders across supply chain warehouse operations pricing DSCSA EDI reporting and enterprise applications. Contributes to FDA transition to standardized 12-digit National Drug Code format. Drives enterprise-wide discovery requirements gathering and cross-functional alignment.
What You'll Do11
- 1Partner with business and IT stakeholders to gather analyze and document requirements related to NDC transformation initiative
- 2Facilitate discovery and blueprinting workshops across supply chain warehouse operations pricing DSCSA EDI reporting and enterprise applications
- 3Document current-state and future-state business processes workflows system interactions and operational dependencies
- 4Identify gaps risks assumptions and cross-functional impacts across systems and business processes
- 5Coordinate requirements and action items across multiple teams while ensuring alignment and traceability
- 6Assist in creation of enterprise impact assessments dependency mapping process flows and blueprint documentation
- 7Work closely with solution owners and architects to translate business needs into functional requirements
- 8Support roadmap planning workstream coordination stakeholder communication and executive-level status reporting
- 9Drive follow-ups to remove ambiguity across business and technical teams
- 10Maintain organized project documentation within Confluence JIRA SharePoint and other collaboration tools
- 11Apply comprehensive knowledge to perform varied tasks and projects
Requirements10
- 14-8 years experience as Business Analyst supporting enterprise technology or supply chain transformation initiatives
- 2Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 3Familiarity with DSCSA NDC GTIN EDI serialization or regulatory modernization initiatives
- 4Exposure to ERP warehouse management systems integrations APIs or data/reporting platforms
- 5Experience supporting large-scale blueprinting or enterprise transformation programs
- 6Ability to facilitate cross-functional workshops and document business system requirements
- 7Strong analytical organizational and communication skills
- 8Proficiency with Agile delivery methodologies and requirements management practices
- 9Experience with JIRA Confluence Visio/Lucid chart Excel and PowerPoint
- 10Independent ability to drive clarity in ambiguous environments
