Overview
We are seeking a Box Office Representative to join our team at Shoreline Amphitheatre. This seasonal role offers the chance to support high volume events while delivering exceptional guest experiences. What You'll Do11
- 1Sell and collect admission tickets and passes from patrons at events
- 2Greet guests attending events who come to the box office
- 3Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity using color or date criteria
- 4Provide accommodations for guests with special needs before and during shows
- 5Inform guests of venue layout and direct them to restrooms concessions and seats
- 6Identify fake tickets and educate guests on purchasing authentic credentials
- 7Settle seating disputes and resolve guest concerns
- 8Assist guests in finding seats and offer flashlight guidance when needed
- 9Participate in sustainability programs by sorting waste and collecting recycling
- 10Partner with band members to close the venue after shows by collecting recyclables and equipment
- 11Maintain order enforce safety rules and report concerns to management
Requirements5
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- 3Attention to detail quality and accuracy
- 4Strong relationship building and communication skills
- 5Ability to work independently with excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Salary Insight
$40 - $44k per year
