BOE Solution Architect SME - 15+ Years Experience
Overview
Own end-to-end BOE development and estimation strategy for GDIT's highest-priority technical opportunities. You'll partner with solution architects across Defense, Intel, Federal Civilian, and Federal Health divisions, using SEER-IT and internal metrics to shape staffing rationale and models. Lead AI-driven estimation improvements and mentor teams while working hybrid in Falls Church or Herndon, VA. This role stands out for its cross-division impact and direct influence on mission-critical proposals.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead BOE development across the lifecycle, including staffing rationale and models for large complex IT programs.
- 2Shape technology mission delivery by providing high-quality BOE and solutioning artifacts for strategic proposals.
- 3Estimate staffing for modernization efforts using SEER-IT and industry benchmark models, backed by data analysis.
- 4Build and deploy predictive models with machine learning techniques (regression, classification, clustering) and integrate them into production systems.
- 5Develop compelling data visualizations and PowerPoint slides to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- 6Drive adoption of AI tools across the business, using M365, Teams, Kanban, and Scrum to improve estimation processes.
- 7Research industry trends in data metrics, AI, and scripting tools, and collaborate to implement approved recommendations.
- 8Provide data-backed recommendations to optimize business processes and inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements9
- 115+ years of related work experience in technical solutions or estimation.
- 25+ years in program management or technical delivery on DoD, Intel, and other federal programs with large enterprise IT solutions.
- 33+ years as a Solution Architect for enterprise IT technology.
- 4Experience in staffing estimation for large complex IT programs, including BOE and staffing rationale.
- 5Depth with Excel, data analysis, building/using parametric models, and migrating data for analysis and reporting.
- 6Strong experience with SharePoint, Salesforce, and AI tools like ChatGPT.
- 7Ability to write clearly and precisely with meticulous attention to detail.
- 8Must have an active Secret clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret after hire.
- 9ITIL certification, process-related certification, or certification in project/program management required.
