What You'll Do11
- 1Design and build AI/ML pipelines using Spark and Airflow to train models for defense applications
- 2Deploy models to cloud edge and hybrid infrastructures while maintaining scalability and security
- 3Implement monitoring frameworks to detect performance drift and operational issues
- 4Optimize models through compression pruning quantization and distributed training techniques
- 5Lead MLOps initiatives to establish robust deployment pipelines and continuous integration processes
- 6Collaborate with data engineers and architects to secure and streamline data pipelines
- 7Evaluate and integrate emerging AI frameworks to maintain technological leadership
- 8Drive feature engineering and model validation to improve dataset quality and analytical outcomes
- 9Provide technical guidance on adversarial robustness and model governance practices
- 10Mentor junior engineers and share best practices for AI system development
- 11Contribute to shaping the organization's AI strategy across mission-critical domains
Requirements11
- 16+ years of experience in AI/ML model development across cloud edge or hybrid environments
- 2Expertise with Spark Airflow and distributed training frameworks like Ray or Horovod
- 3Proven track record with AWS Sagemaker Azure ML or GCP Vertex AI platforms
- 4Strong background in Python PyTorch TensorFlow and Scikit-learn implementation
- 5Experience with vector databases data lakehouse architectures and streaming data systems
- 6Background in mission-focused environments or national security projects
- 7Certification including CPC Card BCBA or AWS Certified credentials
- 8TS/SCI clearance with polygraph requirement for classified information access
- 9Bachelor's degree combined with 4+ years of relevant experience
- 10Knowledge of secure AI engineering principles and NIST AI RMF framework
- 11Ability to analyze datasets engineer features and apply statistical modeling techniques
