BMS Line Associate (Electronic Assembly)
Overview
You will assemble electronic components on a BMS Line in a Matteson, IL plant, handling parts up to 50 lbs. You will work 12-hour shifts on a 4-on-4-off schedule, with night shifts paying $19/hr and day shifts paying $18/hr. This role demands high manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude, and you will operate assembly machinery. Steel toe shoes and a clean background are required; bilingual candidates are preferred. You will join a stable company with consistent shift rotations and immediate openings.
What You'll Do8
- 1Assemble BMS components on a production line, maintaining quality and speed.
- 2Operate assembly machinery and hand tools to fit parts per specifications.
- 3Inspect finished assemblies for defects and report issues to supervisors.
- 4Move materials and finished products, lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- 5Follow safety protocols, including wearing steel toe shoes and other PPE.
- 6Work 12-hour shifts on a 4-on-4-off rotation, including nights and weekends.
- 7Document production output and participate in team stand-ups.
- 8Cross-train on different stations to support line flexibility.
Requirements7
- 1High manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
- 2Mechanical inclination or prior experience as a machine operator.
- 3Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- 4Steel toe shoes required (must be worn on the job).
- 5Clean background and clean drug screen.
- 6Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, with college experience a plus.
- 7Reliable attendance and ability to work 12-hour shifts (day or night).
